Privacy statement & cookies
Last updated: September 2026
Our privacy statement explains which personal data we process, for what purpose and how long we keep it.
Chat conversations with Arie
On this website you can chat with Arie, our digital assistant. To make the chat work and to improve our information services, we store the questions asked and the answers given, together with the time, the language and a random conversation number. We do not store an IP address.
To generate an answer, your question is processed by Anthropic, the provider of the AI model used. Anthropic does not use this data to train AI models.
We keep chat conversations for a maximum of 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically. Please do not share personal details in the chat that are not needed for your question.
Consent for statistics and marketing cookies
This website uses cookies. We distinguish functional cookies (always active), statistics cookies and marketing cookies.
We only place statistics and marketing cookies after you have given consent via the cookie bar that appears at the bottom of the page on your first visit. If you decline, we measure at most anonymously and without cookies how the website is used.
For statistics we use Google Analytics; for tailoring advertisements we use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram). With your consent, these parties may process data such as your IP address and browsing behaviour; see their own privacy statements for more information.
Why cookies?
This website uses cookies to make it easier to use for visitors. They support functionality and are intended to provide insight into how the website works and performs.
This makes the website as user-friendly and relevant as possible for the visitor. No data is collected that could be used to track individual users.
Functional, analytics and recommendation cookies
These cookies are placed for technical and content optimisation. Personal information, such as a phone number, email address or personal browsing behaviour, cannot be derived from these cookies. They can therefore not be used for email or telemarketing campaigns.
Advertising, social media and other cookies
Advertising cookies are placed by media companies such as Google or Facebook and can be used to serve advertisements.
If you accept these cookies, personal data such as IP addresses may be obtained.
Social media cookies make it possible to share website content with your friends or to get in touch with the creators. At the same time, these cookies allow social media networks such as Facebook to use your browsing behaviour for commercial purposes.
Which cookies do we use?
- Functional: these cookies make sure the website works properly. This also includes remembering your cookie choice itself.
- Statistics (Google Analytics): these allow us to measure how the website is used. We only place these cookies with your consent; without consent we measure cookieless and anonymously only.
- Marketing (Meta pixel): these allow us to tailor advertisements on Facebook and Instagram and measure their effect. We only place these cookies with your consent.
- Housing tools (BNDL): the bidding assistant at the bottom left of the website is provided by BNDL/DatHuis and follows the same cookie choice as the rest of the website.
Changing your cookie settings?
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Change choice” button at the bottom of this page; the cookie bar will then reappear. You can also always delete previously placed cookies via your browser settings.
